From January 7th to 8th, the 2024 China Energy Storage CEO Conference & the 8th International Energy Storage Innovation Competition Qualifier was grandly held in Guangzhou. The conference was hosted by China Energy Storage Alliance (CNESA) and New Energy Storage Innovation Center. Liu Weizeng, Founder and Chairman of JD Energy and Ma Jinpeng, Marketing Vice General Manager of JD Energy were invited to attend it and discuss energy storage with industry leaders. At the opening ceremony, Liu Weizeng, Founder and Chairman of JD Energy, delivered a keynote speech entitled Exploration of Key Technology and Application of Industrial and Commercial Energy Storage. The underlying logic behind the development of industrial and commercial energy storage is the daily peak-valley difference in electricity consumption caused by the normal natural routine of working from sunrise to sunset. This market will definitely continue in the future. Regarding the development trend of user-side energy storage, Liu Weizeng, Founder and Chairman of JD Energy, believes that the business model of user-side energy storage is becoming maturer, and the application scenario is increasingly diverse. Hard-core technology wins glory
In recent years, with the gradual access of new power generation equipment, the inertia of power grid system has continued to decrease, and the supporting ability of active power has become weaker and weaker. In serious cases, it will cause frequency instability and trigger a number of large-scale power outages. In this context, JD Energy independently developed a grid-based energy storage product based on string PCS, with a new three-level grid topology, station-level black start voltage setting, voltage secondary recovery, grid-connected and off-grid switching, and precise array power distribution. It also has array-level black start logic, VSG grid control, precise module current distribution, virtual impedance and device-level precise collection and response. In this way, it can achieve synchronous grid-connection of thousands of PCSs and power stations with a power of more than 100 megawatts and stable reconstructing voltage, frequency and power angle, thus effectively solving the inertia problem of new power system from a technical level, and comprehensively improving the new power system stability.
After strict mass-election and professional defense, JD Energy's Grid-based Energy Storage System Based on String PCS stood out and won the Excellent Project in Integrated Technology Track of Technology Innovation Group, providing an important engine for company's rapid development. Meanwhile, this honor also indicates that JD Energy has received high recognition from the industry in technology innovation.
