On May 23, 2023, the power source-side energy storage project in Qintang District, Guigang City of Guangxi delivered by JD Energy was connected to the grid and put into operation for the first time. On May 30, another good news came that the power source-side energy storage project in Chongzuo City of Guangxi also completed its first grid connection and operation as scheduled. This marks the large-scale application of distributed modular energy storage system solutions represented by JD Energy in source and grid side projects, which has been tested in practice and recognized by the industry.

The sword is out of the sheath, breaking the industry record
The power source-side project in Qintang District, Guigang City and Chongzuo City of Guangxi, with a total construction scale of 518MWh, is the largest one in southern China using distributed energy storage solutions. The grid connection and operation of the project also refreshed the record of JD Energy's distributed energy storage solution on the source and grid side.
JD Energy's energy management system, with cluster collaborative management capabilities based on the energy Internet of Things architecture, has effectively solved the scheduling response coordination problem when applying on a large scale the distributed modular energy storage products on the source and grid side, greatly improving the safety and economy of energy storage power stations.
It is reported that the project in Guangxi is the largest one that JD Energy has signed with and delivered to central enterprises, creating another new milestone in the leapfrog development of JD Energy. JD Energy stood out from 35 outstanding bidding companies and became the winning candidate for the project of China Power Engineering Consulting Group Co., Ltd., and finally signed the contract successfully on November 30, 2022. This renewed collaboration with central enterprises means that the distributed energy storage solutions provided by JD Energy have been recognized and affirmed by state-owned and central enterprises and the industry. It has also effectively verified the product strength and service capability of JD Energy.

During the project delivery, the engineering service department of JD Energy delivery center has always been customer-centric and committed to successful delivery. They have gone deep into the mountains of Guangxi, braved the harsh natural environment, and endured 35-degree high temperature or pouring rain. The "thing" end is the JD Energy eBlock distributed energy block system, which adopts an "All in One" integrated control and protection cabinet, realizes independent data collection of single cell, and monitors sensitive parameter such as cell voltage and temperature in real time. The "connection" end uses a JD Energy eLink information integration cabinet to realize the aggregation of energy link and data link, and to aggregate and upload the data collected by all eBlock energy blocks.
